Our facial oil offers a potency to rival the best serum. There are no cheap fillers and every single ingredient is chosen with purpose to offer skin-loving goodness in every drop.
We begin with outstanding base oils – red raspberry and blackcurrant. Exotic and expensive oils like these are rarely used as base oils by other brands but we like to bring out the big guns upfront! These oils have remarkable skin benefits, including superior anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and an impressive ratio of essential fatty acids.
Essential fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) play a critical role in healthy skin barrier function and appearance by preventing moisture loss and lessening the signs of sun damage, skin ageing and inflammatory responses. As our bodies do not produce them, we must obtain them through diet or topical application. But not all plant oils contain optimal levels of essential fatty acids.
Applying the right oils can revitalise damaged skin, replenish dry skin and even balance oily skin, preventing excess sebum production and breakouts.
While it’s beneficial to apply pure plant oils to the skin, functional (active) ingredients should also be included to achieve powerful and visible anti-ageing results. Another point of difference between our product and other ‘natural’ face oils on the market is our inclusion of high performing laboratory-formulated actives at optimal levels. All of our ingredients work synergistically to naturally protect and promote healthy skin while fighting the signs of ageing.

THE CRAFTING PROCESS
Ella Searle is Melbourne based and Australian owned. Only the highest quality ingredients are sourced and small batches are handcrafted with care to ensure the potency and freshness of our ingredients.
To protect the precious contents of each bottle, we use Miron violet glass, which blocks the complete spectrum of visible light, with the exception of violet. This offers optimal protection against degradation caused by visible light, thus lengthening the life and potency of the product. These beautiful, high quality bottles are 100% recyclable.
We never test on animals, use animal-derived ingredients or purchase ingredients that have been tested on animals by others.
We never use synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, parabens, propylene glycol, PEGs or DEAs.
